Get recognition for your eHealth Solution by entering the EU eHealth Competiton. Organised by TICBioMed, it aims to provide support for the SMEs' business success, offering a path to increase visibility and marketing opportunities to attract customers, partners and external capital.

The novelty this year is the launch of a Diabetes track to reward the best solutions for the population management of the disease. 1 in 10 adults will have diabetes by 2040 -642 million- and 12% of global health expenditure is spent on this disease. Let’s give visibility to the solutions that will improve the life quality of diabetes patients.

The eHealth Competition 2017 will be held in partnership with the Health 2.0 and the Healthio Events, taking place at the Fira Barcelona on May 3.

 

Who can apply?

The competition is open to all eHealth SMEs across Europe. The functional scope is on eHealth, Wellbeing and Diabetes.

The competition has three categories to participate: 

• Promises: SMEs with annual turnover less than 500,000€ in 2016.

• Champions: SMEs with annual turnover more than 500,000€ in 2016 (considering only the eHealth unit, in case the company has several divisions.). 

• Diabetes - special track. For companies with solutions focused on diabetes.

 

Finalists selection and awards

The main criteria to select the winners will be technology innovation, short-term impact on: patients,  the healthcare professionals, the economy and among other social aspects - and traction. The Jury will award 3 winners: one per category. The winners of each category will be awarded with a trophy and 1000€.

 

Health 2.0 Europe, Healthio and the EU eHealth Competition

Barcelona will turn into THE place to be 3-5 May for the international digital health community with 3 co-located events: Health 2.0 Europe, Healthio and the EU ehealth competition. During 3 days, participants will have the opportunity to discover and try out the latest innovations in healthcare, network with the minds in the sector and meet potential customers, partners,investors, etc. 

Health 2.0 Europe, the international conference showcasing the latest innovations in Healthcare will be back in Barcelona for its 8th edition. It will gather 600+ forward thinking digital health stakeholders for 3 days of inspirational keynotes, interactive panel discussions, LIVE technology demos, high-level networking and lots of fun! We will showcase and explore the latest innovations in health care such as patient-provider communication, consumer health, genomics, data analytics,artificial intelligence, blockchain and so much more.

Healthio is a fresh, dynamic and interactive event where patients and healthcare professionals will have the opportunity to experience and engage in a very interactive way with current healthcare innovations targeting four key areas of our lifespan: Well-Being, Personalized Medicine, Chronic Disease and Aging.

A dedicated area called Health Living Lab has been created full of exciting, carefully curated itineraries developed by healthcare and innovation experts to guide explorative journey through the innovations being presented according to specific topics.

EU eHealth Competition, organized by TICBiomed, rewards the best eHealth Solutions. It aims at providing support for the SMEs' business success, offering a path to increase visibility and marketing opportunities to attract customers, partners and external capital.
