This is the first "Solution Match" call for applications launched, on behalf of Hospital Bernal, by the new EU-funded eHealth Hub project, one of whose aims is to support commercialization of innovative products and solutions in the eHealth sector.
Hospital Bernal (Caravaca de la Cruz, Murcia, Spain) is looking for a digital health solution to remotely monitor low-complexity chronic patients from their home. Those patients are typically elderly people, physically and mentally well enough to live alone at home, but presenting one or several chronic diseases that would require regular or continuous monitoring.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) and diabetes are the most common conditions among these patients that Hospital Bernal would like to monitor.
Who can apply?
• Startups and SMEs - max 250 employees and no more than 50 millions in annual revenues.
• Headquarters must be in Europe. Having a branch in Europe doesn't work.
• Being able to physically attend the live event in case your company is invited (You will need to cover your travel and accommodation expenses).
A very complete description about Hospital Bernal need and the requirements for the solution they are looking for, as well as the application form to submit your solution, are available at http://www.ehealth-hub.eu/solution-match.html
Make sure you read all documents carefully and submit your solution before February 16th.
